Hundreds of years before Jesus went to the cross, these words were prophesied. And thousands of years later here in San Diego, California we remember the sacrifice made on our behalf. Jesus Christ came to earth as fully man and fully God, lived the perfect life in our place, and died the death that we deserved. He went to the cross with joy, knowing his wounds would heal us and would restore us back to the Father. Today, take some time, either by yourself, with your GC, or your family, to think on the cross. Thank Jesus for his atoning work to forgive you of your sins and make you right with God. Thank him for your new relationship with him based solely on his grace. On Sunday we’ll gather at 9AM & 11AM to celebrate that the cross was not the end of the story. We hope you’ll join us to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection together!
We had such a wonderful time together at the beach this weekend! It was great to get outdoors and start our summer tans, but most of all we loved making new friends, seeing all the kids play together, and being with our church family.
