Elder

Royce is an elder at Restored Uptown who is passionate about developing leaders who are ready to lead God's people into mission.

1. What do you do for fun?
I enjoy biking, engineering, traveling, eating and drinking, and doing all those things with friends!

2. What are you passionate about?
One thing I'm passionate about is helping people see how what they do in their everyday life is valuable and important to God. For example, I love when people connect the dots between work and God's coming kingdom. When we get that God has worked to create and save us, we begin to become passionate about working to benefit others through our daily jobs.

3. What is something that most people don't know about you?
I don't like putting milk in my cereal, it really irks people, but I can't stand the soggy texture, don't judge me.

4. Everyone should read...
Tim Keller's Every Good Endeavor is huge, Jesus Continued is also really great. I loved reading through the Sherlock Holmes novels too.  

5. What excites you about Restored Church? 
I love seeing Jesus create such authentic, sacrificial relationships among our church family. I love that we want others to experience this so much that we send out our best friends and leaders.
